Starting with release 1.2.0, a new firmware API is used. This means D-series cards that have an old firmware
will not work with the newer software. You can upgrade the firmware on your card with the following steps:

1. Install the full sngtc software package first. See INSTALL for instructions.

2. Go into server/sngtc_tool

3. Type 'make install' to install the sngtc_tool utility.

4. Run the command 'sngtc_tool -dev ethX -firmware'.
Make sure you are not running sngtc_server or any other software using the card while you upgrade.
The ethX argument must be replaced by your ethernet interface for the D-series card you want to upgrade.

After upgrading your firmware is recommended to reboot before using it again.
